As with the glove and apron, we can introduce vocabulary in various ways with both.

We recommend that you either hide the toybook items in pockets or place them in the apron. After that, you can play a guessing game, or you can let the child discover the words on their own as a surprise for the class.  

The apron is a great tool for testing the lesson and seeing how much your child is learning. You can still name or mimic each item you introduce as vocabulary. In our experience, exaggerating emotions and facial expressions work best with children.

When introducing new words, give children plenty of opportunities to practice. Mamaestra can provide whatever resource you may need.
