Mamaestra Flashcards for Early Stimulation Program

As your baby develops, she starts hearing familiar voices and responding to them. A baby responds better to and prefers the mother’s voice immediately after birth. For this reason, mamaestra was developed. When your baby is listening to two distinct sounds for the same thing, action or emotion, he or she will later be able to express these sounds when they begin to talk.
Through frequent language productions, such as readings, conversations, songs, and being taught, babies learn language skills. Listed below are 50 flash cards to help you get through the day. When talking to a baby, we always use “baby talk,” or higher-pitched, slower speech with emphasis placed on alternating words, which is extremely helpful in the process.
As you talk, read, or do any activity with your baby, you provide comforting contact and eye contact. The more time you spend learning Spanish, the more likely you are to love it and have confidence in it.

Description
If you are a new parent and you want to be part of this bilingual challenge. The ability to mimic any language is a natural capability that every infant is born with. By the time a baby is about 10 months old, he begins to narrow down his range of sounds to those that he hears around him. So it’s best to introduce your child to a second language during their first year. That’s why many successful moms begin speaking Spanish as soon as they are able, so we introduce the Mamaestra book 1 and the flash cards to make easy your job.
We advise you, after purchasing the book, to decide with your partner whether you want to adopt an approach to create a bilingual environment in your home:
- The OPOL “one-parent-one-language”
- The MLAH “Minority Language at Home.”
- The T&T “Time & Place”
- The MLF “Mixed Language Families.”
- The ORF “Outside Resource Families.”
